I'm bad!

I know, I know I haven't been posting much lately, that's because I have been burning the late night oil trying to get all my client orders done, so that they can have them for Christmas!

It has been crazy crazy, but I just wanted to let everyone know that I am still around!

Tomorrow is my first executive meeting as Central Branches New Chair, I am just hoping that
I will do a good job at it and I will gain new members into our group of really good and talent
photographers.

Razzle Dazzle

So I have been asking for names for my print and my good friend Shelley came up with Hypnotized! What do you think?

Last night I was voted in as Central Branch Chair, now this might now mean much to most people. It is kind of like being in charge of running the Professional Photographers Association for Calgary. Lucky me, I only hope that the people who elected me will love some
of my ideas for making our association better!

Woody Woodpecker

Over at the lake the other day this stunning woodpecker flew close by us. I just had to stop what I was doing and try to get closer to him. As I did I just kept taking photos of him. It was as if he was just posing for me. He kept watching me as I got closer and closer to him still taking photos of him. This amazing bird was telling me ok lady don't you have enough of me yet! And still I got closer to him I could just reach out when he said one last photo and I'm out of here!
So he let me get this one then he took off! Lucky me, if only birds could talk!

I'm Back!

WOW!!!!! Just got back from a powerful photography convention in Canmore Alberta.
Excellent speakers and workshops. Had fun playing with light and learning new ideas for photography, can't wait to try them out!!!

Fun Couple

This really super fun couple is getting married in November. We picked such a perfect day for their engagement photos. There was an over cast sky, which made the fall colors jump out at you and not to mention the two most important people I had to photograph!
We really had a good time and before we new it their shoot was over. I can't wait for their wedding!!!!

Awesome Family

What a great fun family! Not a cloud in the sky and the sun was so high. No shade to be found so we found places to photograph them. It was fun trying to get them to keep their eyes open in the bright sun, so I had them all keep a smile on their faces and close their eyes. On 3 I said open your eyes! Some photos worked and some did not! But I got alot of great images with this family!

Family Day!

Beauty and her horse! They are a wonderful team. She loves riding and Red loves to run!

This little man is 3 and is so full of energy! He loved the slides and the swings! I just let him
be himself and captured him wherever he was going! Notice mom is having fun on that slide too!

Beautiful Fall Day at the Lake

We could not have had a better day today for some fun in the park photos. The sun came out and it warmed and lucky for us we got to play!

Wonderful Family

We had a beautiful sunny day over at the lake and I was able to photograph this wonderful
family! Can you believe it that the baby is only 2 months old!!! And he is smiling!

New Website is up and running

I did not think that creating a new website would be difficult, so many things to do and remember to do when building it. I have had some of my clients tell me "Hey Linda what gives I am no longer on your website!" I am saying please be patient with me and I will try to get some of my galleries up. Right now I am trying very hard to get caught up with Bridal Albums and orders for all the fantastic weddings that I have had so far this year! Not to mention all the great families that I have been given the pleasure to photograph!

Now here is the next thing for me to run for the Chair of central Branch Calgary, Photographers Association. I have had many people asking me to run for the chair. What to do, that is quiet a commitment!
