Peace Bridge wedding photos Calgary

Lori and Darren wanted to have some wedding photos taken on the Peace Bridge in Calgary so we waiting until late in the evening to go over to take some images. We were really hoping for the Stampede Fireworks to start so we could capture the fireworks in the images as well but that didn't happen as the fireworks didn't go off as planned. But we managed to capture Lori and Darren on the bridge as they wanted. The Peace Bridge was busy and we waiting for each shot just right. Congratulations Lori and Darren on your wedding!

Wedding Photos in Lake Bonavista park Calgary

After a freak snow storm the day before their wedding we were worried that they wouldn't get their wedding photos over at the Lake Bonavista Park. I kept praying that the day would turn out just fine for my couple after all who doesn't want sunshine on their wedding day, that's just what we pray for when one's getting married. Sheena and Jason had chosen just to have a professional photographer photograph just the formal part of their wedding as that was really important to them that they had professional wedding pictures! By having your wedding photo's taken earlier in the day, gives you more time to party and be with your friends and family and you are not wondering what your guests will be doing while you are running off to get your photos taken! I was lucky to be able to spend some time with them on their wedding day and to share in their joy and love for one another!

Rock the wedding dress! Sheena is a very happy bride and why not this was her wedding day and she looked fabulous in her wedding dress! With special thanks to Nikki Cook hair and make up artist of Evanescents Laser Studio Inc. and Weddings by Evanescents. I would love to have Sheena playing in the sand and going into the water but here in these photos she was not married yet. Sheena and Jason were getting married later in the afternoon and I needed to keep her wedding dress clean for the wedding. But still we had fun in this short little time that we had together!

The New Port Grill on Lake Bonavista, Calgary

Little Kairell was so excited about his mom getting married! He was directing all the people where to go to see his mom get married at THE NEW PORT GRILL on Lake Bonavista! He looked so adorable in his tux with tales! Waiting for his first glance of his mom to arrive, he told all the people hurry up and get in before she comes, you can't see her!!!! Sheena has arrived! Kairell was so proud he had done his job, getting everyone in to New Port Grill! The Groom Jason had been waiting to see first glance of his new bride Sheena. You see we were doing first glance at the Resturant! We were going to take the first glance photos over at the lake but the weather was not co-operating with us so we decided that we would do it at the New Port Grill! Many times I have been asked to just photograph the "FORMALS" and sometimes the Bride and Groom are getting married much later in the afternoon such as Sheena and Jason! Sheena was coming down that isle where they were to be married later that afternoon fast and who could blame her! Waiting for her was Jason!
