Barb and Chris were married on March 13, 2010 at The Inn in Lake Bonavista. It was a romantic setting in front of the fireplace with a number of guests watching as the happy couple said their vows. What was nice is that I was able to photograph the wedding with beautiful available light that was coming in through the windows. We had a sunny warm day and the rim lighting coming in was beautiful. I always love it when I have beautiful light. It makes the couple more relaxed not using the flash as they are getting married.
I was lucky to have this happy couple all to myself over at the lake for some photos before they got married. As we were walking along the path of the lake their guest could see them from the deck of the Inn and every once in a while you would hear a whistle.

Yes once again PPOC 2010 print comp is coming up and who will be this years photographer of the year! Every year I like to enter some of my work and see what comes of it.

I wonder if my friend Denise knows she is so popular this year with me. I had the pleasure of photographing Denise and Robin's wedding back in July of 2009 and decided to enter them.

She is thrilled that I used some of her portraits.

While strolling through Fish Creek park after an awesome engagement shoot I came across the big buck and couldn't resist getting a photo of him. My husband loves it so much he asked me to print it for him. And again I was photographing a family session and I couldn't believe how good my families dogs were. They were so well behaved and understood everything you said, well almost I would say. These two were a couple of real cute dogs.

I posted my prints a little while ago but I have done more work on the images tweaking them even more!

So here is hoping that I hang one or maybe 2 or just wouldn't it be fabulous if all 4 got accepted and hung at this years 2010 convention!

I have been a long time member of the Professional Photographers of Canada, and loving every minute of it! We have our 2010 convention coming up very soon and I am busy trying to put together images for print competition. Not only that but I have been busy putting together a few more accreditation's, these accreditation's will be judged very soon by my piers which I look up to.

Mat and Michelle are getting married in May and I am so happy for them! I asked Michelle how did you meet Mat? I worked at Trios Pizza and Steak house and he came in as a customer. How many more times did he come into Trios before he asked you out? 2 more times.
What is your favorite thing about each other? Michelle said his support and well being, and Mat say she's easy going and strong!
Mat loves kisses and I didn't even have to ask him to kiss Michelle, and Michelle loves hugs and Mat was always hugging Michelle.
I asked them how did Mat propose? He laughed and said lying in my parents bed after I got hit by a car with a broken leg on drugs I proposed to Michelle!
Then I asked them what are you both looking forward to on your wedding day?
Michelle said I am looking forward to our vows and the expression on his face when Mat sees me for the first time! Mat said seeing Michelle for the first time will make me cry!
How romantic is that as I sat in the back seat of their car with tears in my eyes!
