I would have loved to bring this home and put it in my yard as a decoration, but I didn't think the farmer would let me take it from his bush, so I guess I just have to have a picture of it instead. We have much to be thankful for and today is one of them!

Turkey Dinner!

It's Easter Sunday and most people would be sitting down and enjoying a turkey dinner with all the trimmings! Of course I had to go and find something to shoot to post on my blog today.

Well here's a turkey that got away, the only shooting he's getting is from my camera!

Shut the water off when you are done!

This is our cat Noel, and she loves to drink out of the tap! When she is in the kitchen she can turn the tap on my hitting it with her paw, but here she can't turn it on. So she sits quietly waiting for someone to turn it on for her.
I wish she would learn to turn it off, because sometimes she just takes so long to drink water!

These are left over from last year, well at least these are colorful!

So this is our very lovable Noel, she loves to smooch and is very affectionate when she wants to be! Or when she feels like being cuddled. She is here with my Son, he found her in his truck as a tiny little baby left. Brought her home and we just couldn't help loving her!

Today I went to his office to drop something off for Shelley and asked him if I could take his photo. "What for he said" I want to surprise Shelley but don't tell her! Hey Shelley, Jeff's winking at you!

What the Heck is it????

So I accepted a challenge with 2 of my good friends and they are photographers too!
Every day we must post something shot that day to our blog. So I photographed this today do you know what it is?????

Meet Noel, she will be 3 this spring, and what a little stinker she can be! She loves to climb trees, especially when she knows there's a bird feeder close by! She likes to climb in a tree and just stare at those birds, but has never caught one and If I ever catch her she will get a scolding!
She's pretty quick too and again won't listen unless she wants too. She too gets a kick out of the dog next door. I'm a tiger hear my roar! grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Cats will be cats

Meet Cloe' my cat, she is 10 years young and still loves to play. She hates having her picture taken and she hates being on a leash when we go outside. But she is really beginning to listen must be her age. Cats have minds of their own and forget you if you try to rule.
Today was a nice day so we went outside in our back yard. The first thing she wanted to do was jump on the fence and tease the heck out of the dog next door.
Here she is sitting knowing that that dog next door can't touch her! Silly dog you don't scare me!

Is this my best side!

Posing for the camera, don't they look like they are smiling at me?

This little guy was my favorite! The smallest one there he came right to the fence and begged me to scratch his head. He stopped and he looked like he smiled right at me, then he sat down with in meters of me and let me photograph him. So friendly I would have taken him home but then what do you do with a lama in the city?

Lama's

My Friend Tina and I decided to take a drive out to the country and have lunch at a favorite spot we like. Taking my camera along because most of the time I don't leave home without it, we came accross a farmers herd of Lama's and decided to stop so I could take photo's of them.

These animals were not afraid of me, but I was of them just a little. I could not believe how close they let me come to them, I was almost within arms reach of them. Boy talking about hamming it up for the camera, they were playing and making all kinds of noices.
They were just posing for me and one by one they all came to me to see who I was and have their photo taken. I got some really interesting photos of them.

Off to the Nationals

These are my 4 prints for the National print comp. They are going to be judged on April 10th and I am hoping to hang all 4 this year! I will keep you all posted as to what is happening. My friend Shelley is going to the Nationals and she is going to keep me posted as to how my prints are doing. This is very exciting!
